Brian Moller | Non-Executive Chair

Brian is a corporate partner in Brisbane based law firm Hopgood Ganim Lawyers. practicing almost exclusively in the corporate area with an emphasis on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions.

He holds an LLB Hons from University of Queensland, a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland,
a Solicitor & Barrister of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association.

Brian acts for many publicly-listed resource and industrial companies and brings immense experience and expertise to the Board, particularly in the area of corporate regulatory and governance. He is also Chair of ASX listed Tempest Minerals Ltd and Platina Resources Ltd and NED
of ASX listed DGR Global Ltd and NewPeak Metals Ltd.

Nicholas Mather | Non-Executive Director

Nick, appointed 2001, is Founder, MD and CEO of DGR Global. With 30+ years experience in the junior resource sector, Nick specializes in identifying undervalued resource exploration opportunities. His involvement in major resource projects has generated over $5.7 billion in shareholder return.

Notable achievements include co-founding Arrow Energy NL, later acquired for ~$3.5 billion and co-founding Bow Energy Ltd. and Waratah Coal Inc, which were both acquired for significant amounts.

Additionally, Nick was CEO of BeMax Resources NL, contributing to the discovery of the Pooncarie mineral sands project and NED of Ballarat Goldfields.

Currently, Nick serves as NED of SolGold plc and New Peak Metals and is Executive Chair of Armour Energy.

Richard Willson | Non-Executive Director

Richard is an experienced NED, Company Secretary and CFO with 20+ years’ experience in publicly listed and private companies.

Richard has a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Australia, is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is NED of Titomic Ltd (ASX:TTT), Thomson Resources Ltd (ASX:TMZ), 8IP Emerging Companies Ltd (ASX:8EC), PNX Metals Ltd (ASX:PNX), MedTEC Holdings Ltd and Unity Housing Company.

Richard is the Chair of the Audit Committee of Titomic Ltd, 8IP Emerging Companies Ltd, New Peak Metals Ltd and Unity Housing Company and Remuneration & Nomination Committee Chair of Titomic Ltd.  

Peter Westerhuis | Chief Executive Officer

Peter is a highly-credentialed mining executive with strategic, operational, commercial and corporate experience in Australia and internationally. For the last 20 years Peter has held senior executive roles, principally focused on resource development, operations turnarounds and business growth.

Previously Peter was CEO of Batchfire Resources, who own and operate the Callide Mine in Central Queensland and CEO of Ensham Resources, who own and operate the Ensham open-cut and underground coal mines in Central Queensland. Peter has also consulted extensively for mining companies in Australia, PNG, South Africa and Chile and currently is Non-Executive Chair of Bathurst Resources Ltd (ASX:BRL), New Zealand’s largest coal producer and exporter.

John Haley | Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer

John is an accountant (Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants until he resigned in June 2020) with over 40 years work experience. This experience includes tax accounting with Arthur Andersen and Co, and Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers) with a focus on taxation advice to clients in the Australian mining industry.

His experience includes approximately 20 years as a Director/Chief Financial Officer and/or Company Secretary of junior mining companies in Australia and Canada. He was a founding Director and Officer of three ASX listed companies, Metallica Minerals Limited, MetroCoal Limited and Cape Alumina Limited (the latter two subsequently merged to form MetroMining Limited). He has also held Director and/or Officer roles in several other ASX listed junior mining companies.

John holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland, as well as a Marketing Diploma from the Queensland University of Technology.
